Dr. Darlene Negbenebor is a board-certified gastroenterologist in private practice in Stamford, CT with a special interest in hepatology, diseases of pregnancy, reflux disease, cancer screening, and treatment of obesity. She has received the William Grace award, the Joseph Rongetti award in hepatitis research, as well as being named amongst Castle Connolly's Best Doctors. She has published research in the leading gastrointestinal journals, lectures at GI society meetings, and locally on various topics. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and also serves as Hepatology Clinic Director at Stamford Hospital. She completed her residency and fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital of NY, New York Medical College. Darlene graduated from Brandeis University and holds an MD from State University of New York at Syracuse.
Darlene and her husband Michael live in Stamford along with Leah (SLS '26) and Evan (SLS '28).
