Two More Storm Seniors Sign NLIs

Two More St. Luke’s Seniors To Continue Their Athletic Careers in College

St. Luke’s celebrated two more student-athletes on Jan. 12 as they signed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) to continue their athletic careers in college.

Kaya Weiskopf has committed to play basketball at Central Connecticut State Universityand Marcues Jean Jacques will attend West Virginia State University to play football.

Earlier this year, student-athletes around the country celebrated National Signing Day (Nov. 9) including four St. Luke’s seniors: Alexandra Bacher (University of North Carolina – softball), Ava Weneck (Harvard University – crew), Chad Ruggiero (Colgate University – golf), and Sienna Pilla (University of Georgia – equestrian).

While these six have signed official commitments with their schools, a number of student-athletes from St. Luke’s Class of 2024 committed verbally to institutions as well. We look forward to bringing more news on those student-athletes in the coming months.
